Definitely one of the more unique convective outlook images I’ve seen in awhile… A large Level 2 (out of 5) risk of damaging winds extends across the U.S. from Texas to Illinois back down to Virginia. Interestingly, SPC has the only tornado threat in the marginal risk zone in Colorado!
General thunderstorms are likely later today across south Alabama and northwest Florida. Widespread severe weather isn’t expected.
