FEW SHOWERS THIS MORNING; HOT & DRY THIS AFTERNOON… A few showers are happening to our south in the northern Gulf of Mexico this morning. A few of these showers could move near coastal communities over the next few hours. Temperatures will be on the increase on this Wednesday across south Alabama and northwest Florida. Rain in the morning hours of Tuesday kept our area significantly cooler than forecast yesterday, but today, most areas won’t have that mitigating factor. High temps will rise to the low- to mid-90s in most spots.

THURSDAY & WEEKEND PREVIEW… Ample sunshine is coming up for Thursday. High temperatures could reach the mid- to upper-90s in some spots across our region. Rain chances will be low for Thursday, but a few storms could return to the area on Friday afternoon. The chance of rain for any one spot across our area will be increasing in the afternoon and evening hours from Friday through Sunday. Our seasonal showers and thunderstorms that are induced by the seabreeze will return in full force by Sunday into Monday.
