ANOTHER ROUND OF STORMS… Here we go again! Numerous showers and thunderstorms have popped up early this afternoon across south Alabama and northwest Florida. The heaviest rain, at the moment, is over Choctaw and northwest Washington County near Millry. Storms are also producing heavy rain near Red Level, Burnt Corn, Holt, Walker Springs, Coden, and Munson.

FEW SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE… I don’t think there will be as many stronger to severe storms today due to the atmosphere not being AS unstable compared to previous days. There very well could be a brief, rogue storm that ramps up to severe levels capable of producing damaging wind gusts and hail. The tornado risk today remains basically zero.

I’ll be monitoring radar trends this afternoon.
