NUMEROUS STORMS AROUND… Thunderstorms that are producing excessively heavy rain are happening near Flomaton, Pineview, Wawbeek, Atmore, Walnut Hill, Stapleton, Satsuma, Allentown, Crestview, Milligan, and Deerland early in this Noon hour. Storms are slowly drifting southeast.
The storms so far today have been confined mainly near and south of Interstate 65. More storms will bubble up over the interior areas of south Alabama in the hours ahead. Lightning, heavy rain, and gusty winds remain the big concerns.
