STORMS LIKELY AGAIN TODAY… Skies might look just like this at times today. Thanks to Josh Northrop for sending in this stunning view of the Mobile, AL skyline yesterday. A mix of sun and clouds is likely today with widespread shower and thunderstorm activity. Storms will be most numerous this afternoon and this evening, similar to previous days, but we note several showers and storms are already in progress this morning.

ISOLATED FLASH FLOODING POSSIBLE… The National Weather Service indicates that there is a low-end potential of flash flooding across our area yet again today. This will, obviously, happen under the stronger storms that train over the same areas. Rain amounts will vary from 0.00″ to 4″ in very isolated spots across our region. Most of us will end up with 0.5-1.5″ of rain today.

RAIN CHANCES LOWER ON SUNDAY… Rain chances will return to “seasonal values” on Sunday into Monday. We’ll call it a 30-40% chance of rain, with most areas staying dry. Again, however, there will be downpours of rain in isolated spots. Temperatures will be around 90° for afternoon highs.

RADAR/APP… Be sure to check the Interactive Radar throughout the day here in the RedZone Weather app (radar tab is the second one toward the left on the bottom tab bar). Have a great Saturday!
