Vast majority of Alabama and northwest Florida remain under mostly clear skies this morning. We note a few showers are forming and moving north in southern Mobile and Baldwin counties. There also are flash flood warnings in effect for portions of Lee, Russell, and Macon counties in east Alabama due to a complex of slow-moving heavy ran there.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon across south Alabama and northwest Florida. Expect downpours at times!
