BIG STORMS NEAR THE BEACHES… Many showers and thunderstorms are happening near the Alabama and northwest Florida beaches. Lots of lightning is happening and we encourage everyone on the beach at Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, NAS Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, and Navarre to be ready to get inside quickly.
For inland areas, showers and storms are more widespread and overall smaller in structure compared to the storms near the coast. I expect storm coverage to continue to increase. Be ready for downpours!
