SCATTERED STORMS UNDERWAY… Numerous showers and thunderstorms are now rapidly firing up across south Alabama and northwest Florida. A cluster of thunderstorms has popped up in Escambia (AL) and Conecuh counties near Brewton, Boykin, Damascus, Johnsonville, and Brooklyn.
We’re also observing rapidly firing storms near Pineville, Barnett Crossroads, Grand Bay, Theodore, Magnolia Springs, Gulf Shores, Miflin, Navarre, and Wright.
“When thunder roars, please go indoors!” Lightning safety is critical on days like today when storms will be numerous across the area. I’ll have more radar updates over the next few hours.
