MORE RAIN TO THE NORTHEAST NEAR TROY… Thunderstorms have been more numerous just to the east of our local area, near places like Troy, Brundidge, Clayton, and Goshen today. These storms have prompted increased cloud cover in much of Covington, Butler, and Crenshaw counties. Several tiny showers are also happening across our region at the moment, with areas of downpours noted near Foley, Paradise Beach, Appleton, Old Sparta, Beatrice, Campbell, and Sunny South.
Rain chances will be greatest today across inland areas of Clarke, Monroe, Conecuh, and Butler counties. There still is a small risk of rain for everyone, but the greatest chance of rain will almost certainly happen in those counties.
