STORMS FIRING UP… Here we go again! The “daily deluge” of showers and thunderstorms is now firing across south Alabama and northwest Florida. I expect many storms to pop up over the next few hours across the area. Many of us have been dry over the last few days, but I expect vast majority of us to have rain before the end of the day. Widespread severe weather is not expected, but a few of the thunderstorms could be on the strong side, producing lots of cloud-to-ground lightning, very heavy rain, and gusty winds.
