Scattered thunderstorms continue to bubble up this evening, mainly across inland areas of southwest Alabama at this point. The atmosphere is pretty worked over at this point across much of Mobile and Baldwin counties, meaning storms are less likely to pop up in those areas over the next few hours. We note very heavy rain happening near Thomasville, Perdue Hill, Peterman, Florala, and Old Texas as of 5:19PM.
Storms will continue to produce heavy rain and lightning over the next 2 hours before fading after sunset when we lose daytime heating.
