SHOWERS POPPING UP… Most of us have been cloudy thus far on this Thursday across south Alabama and northwest Florida. The morning clouds may inhibit storm development somewhat this afternoon as we get into the middle of the daytime heating process. We note that showers have popped up in northeast Conecuh and northwest Covington counties near Brooks and Cohassett. These showers are drifting southeast.
I do expect scattered storms to fire up over the next few hours across our region. Expect downpours!
