ISOLATED STORMS GRADUALLY WEAKENING… It’s been a long weather day across south Alabama and northwest Florida. I am cautiously optimistic at this point that all of the severe weather issues are over. There could be a rogue storm that ramps up briefly over the next few hours, but overall, I think most of the issues are now over.

Decaying storms are happening near Johnsonville, Brooklyn, and Seminole. We’re also monitoring developing storms over Pensacola Bay near Pensacola and Gulf Breeze. Storms near Fort Walton Beach and Destin are also producing lots of lightning.

Overall, storms will continue to weaken and kick out to the southeast over the next few hours…
