STRONG STORM ENTERING MCDAVID NOW… While the thunderstorm in northern Escambia (FL) County is quite strong and could be producing gusty winds, I have reason to believe that it is weaker than it was about 15 minutes ago when this severe thunderstorm warning was issued. Don’t take a risk, though. It very well may be producing isolated areas of damaging winds and/or hail. The hail risk has subsided somewhat, however.
We encourage NO travel on U.S. Highway 29 south of Century and north of Molino. Also, still no travel on FL97 south of Atmore/Bratt and north of Molino.
