SCATTERED STORMS CONTINUE… The severe thunderstorm warning that was in effect for northern Escambia County, Florida has been cancelled. We note that several areas of thunderstorms continue across our region. As of 2:20PM, several storms are in progress across coastal areas of Mobile County near Theodore, Bayou La Batre, and Alabama Port. These storms also extend over Mobile Bay.

Clearly, the strongest storm in our area remains the cluster of storms over Molino, McDavid, and McKinnon in northern Escambia (FL) County. These storms are slowly moving east into Santa Rosa County. Storms also are happening near Holt, Milligan, Harris, and Mary Esther.

Just in the last few moments, storms appear to be popping up near East Brewton, Dixonville, and Brownsdale as well. Be ready for more scattered downpours across the region over the next few hours! Widespread severe weather is not expected and the tornado risk today is virtually nil.
