STORMS SLOWLY WEAKENING… Storms in western Covington and eastern Escambia (AL) counties continue to produce quite a bit of lighting and thunder. Heavy rain is happening near Loango, Boggs & Boulders, Hoomesville, Boykin, Damascus, and Teddy. I wouldn’t be shocked if the weakening storms reached the western side of Andalusia within the next 20-30 minutes.
The complex of storms in Baldwin and Escambia (FL) counties is weakening at a quicker pace, but still producing lots of lightning and heavy downpours of rain. Rain near Robertsdale, Silverhill, Gateswood, Walnut Hill, and Barrineau Park will continue to fade away over the next 20 minutes.
Tuesday is slated to bring even more rainfall to south Alabama and northwest Florida. Numerous thunderstorms are expected throughout the day!
