ISOLATED SMALL STORMS OVER WEST ALABAMA… Isolated small thunderstorms continue to bubble up and fade away across Clarke, Monroe, Washington, and Mobile counties in west Alabama. Multiple areas of heavy rain are happening on the US45 corridor between State Line, MS and Mobile. The heaviest rain at the moment is near Deer Park and Vinegar Bend in Washington County.

A good bit of sunshine is now happening across eastern fringes of our area this evening. The morning rain seemed to stabilize the atmosphere in places like Brewton, Atmore, Poarch, Walnut Hill, Evergreen, and Andalusia. Storms haven’t been nearly as numerous today in these spots.

Don’t be surprised by an isolated downpour of rain before the end of the day across our area!
