STORMS POPPING UP LATE THIS MORNING… Isolated showers and thunderstorms are popping up across south Alabama and northwest Florida as of 11:18AM. At the moment, a heavier shower is developing over Brewton, East Brewton, Alco, Pea Ridge, and Kirkland. This storm is slowly drifting north. Heavy downpours of rain and lightning are possible over the next several minutes near Brewton.
Elsewhere across the region, small, isolated showers are popping up near Boykin, Molino, Barrineau Park, Mary Esther, and Big Creek Lake. I expect more storms to pop up over the next few hours.
