STORMS CONTINUE IN WASHINGTON COUNTY… Several thunderstorms continue along the AL17 corridor in Washington County near Chatom, Jordan, and Yarbo. These storms are basically stationary. Stratiform rain (without much lightning or thunder) continues near Thomasville, Grove Hill, Whatley, and Gainestown in Clarke County.
Storms and rain likely will fade away over the next few hours as we continue to lose daytime heating.
