SEVERE STORM IN WILCOX COUNTY… The thunderstorm over Millers Ferry and central Wilcox County has ramped up to severe levels, according to the National Weather Service in Mobile. NWS Mobile has opted to issue a Severe Thunderstorm Warning valid until 1:45PM for much of Wilcox County, including the city of Camden. Rosebud, Oak Hill, Pineapple, and much of the Alabama Highway 10 corridor are included in this warning. Pine Hill, Yellow Bluff, and Lamison are NOT included.
Damaging wind gusts and hail will be possible shortly in/near Camden. Widespread severe weather is not expected today.
