NUMEROUS STORMS HAPPENING… Heavy rain, lightning, thunder, and gusty winds are happening in spots across south Alabama & NW Florida this evening. At the moment, the heaviest rain has set up along the Interstate 65 corridor near “the Dolly Parton Bridge,” Stockton, Bay Minette, Perdido, Poarch, and Atmore. If you can avoid traveling on I-65 south of the Flomaton exit (Exit 69) and north of the Dauphin Street exit (Exit 4), I would. These storms are not severe, but they are dropping copious amounts of heavy rain!

Storms have also fired near Loxley, Silverhill, Robertsdale, Point Clear, Milton, Appleton, Frisco City, Toddtown, Pleasant Home, Andalusia, and Red Oak.

Be ready for more scattered downpours of heavy rain over the next few hours. Storms will start to fade after 6:45PM when the sun goes down.
