WET RUSH HOUR AHEAD FOR MANY… Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue to develop and move northward across south Alabama & NW Florida… While storms are numerous, here are a few corridors that will almost certainly be under heavy rain in the first half of the 5PM hour:
-Interstate 65 from Greenville southward to the Bay Minette exits.
-US43 from Thomasville southward to Grove Hill
-US84 from the AL/MS state line eastward to Whatley
-US31 from Atmore to Stapleton
-US29 from Century to Cantonment
-US29 from Andalusia to Pleasant Hill
-AL41 from Monroeville northward to Camden
It is a MESS this evening across much of south Alabama & northwest Florida with numerous thunderstorms around. Fortunately, nothing severe, but storms are "loud and proud" featuring lots of lightning and heavy rain. pic.twitter.com/tP63azgRKz
