ISOLATED STORMS POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON… Grab the rain jacket and keep it handy over the next 48 hours as showers and thunderstorms will increase in number across our region ahead of the passage of a cold front by Sunday. Rain chances will progressively increase throughout the day on this Friday. If you’re headed to a high school football game this evening, I would definitely keep the rain gear and umbrellas handy.

MORE STORMS SATURDAY… Rain chances will be elevated for Saturday, with numerous showers and thunderstorms expected ahead of a cold front that will pass by late Saturday evening or Sunday morning. At this point, severe weather is unlikely.

COOLER TEMPS COMING… Another reinforcing shot of cooler air is expected to start filtering in behind the cold front on Sunday. High temperatures on Monday will be near the 70 degree mark across much of our area. Overnight lows Monday and Tuesday will be near 50°, with some spots likely to be in the upper-40s.

See all the details in your Friday #rzw forecast video that will be available shortly… Enjoy the day!
