COOL FRIDAY; NICE WEEKEND AHEAD… Temperatures will struggle to hit 70° in many spots today across south Alabama and northwest Florida. Some spots will have mostly cloudy skies, especially areas to the east, while some spots will have sunshine throughout the day. The lingering small showers will continue to move out of Alabama and northwest Florida. It’s going to be a chilly evening for Friday Night Lights! We’re also looking ahead to next week when we could have another round of rain and maybe a few thunderstorms as well. Let’s talk details…

FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL FORECAST… Most high school football games kick off at 7PM and much of our local area will be in the 50s by that point. You’ll definitely need the jackets as there also will be a brisk northwest wind, ushering in cooler, drier air.

SUNNY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY… No weather issues this weekend. Plenty of sunshine is expected with high temperatures near 70° and morning lows in the mid-40s. Definitely chilly mornings!

RAIN & STORMS NEXT WEEK… Some model indications point to yet another shot of cooler air moving our way with a warm, southerly flow out ahead of the front. As I often caution, anytime we have a situation like that, severe weather is a concern during November. Secondary severe weather season has officially kicked off. We’ll keep you posted about that developing system in the days ahead.

See all the details in your Friday #rzw forecast video that will be available shortly in the RZWeather app… Have a great weekend!
