A few Saturday morning notes…
– There is a growing chance that a tornado outbreak could happen across parts of north & central parts of Alabama and Mississippi late Monday into Tuesday morning.
– This will be a potentially dangerous severe weather setup that could affect a large geographic area. While confidence is high that the greatest issues will happen to the north of our local area in south Alabama and northwest Florida, there is at least some chance that northern fringes of our area could have a severe weather risk on Tuesday morning.
– Chances are also growing that a few nocturnal/overnight tornadoes may happen across north and central Alabama. These tornadoes are particularly dangerous! Many tornado deaths happen at night due to so many people sleeping. Now is the time to ensure that you have a way to receive urgent weather warnings.
