FINALLY! RAIN MOVES OUT TODAY… The day that so many have been looking forward to is finally here. Rain is on the way out to our east this morning and “better weather” is set to begin later today. A cold front will push all of the moisture and unsettled weather far to our southeast today, ushering in cooler, drier, stable air into our local area. This will pave the way for a nice, seasonal weekend.
TEMPERATURES “GO THE WRONG WAY” TODAY… Normally, temperatures rise and fall with the diurnal pattern we are accustomed to. That won’t be the case today as temperatures decrease all day on this Friday. We’re starting around 62° in most spots this morning but we will end up in the low-50s by early evening. Grab the jackets this morning if you’re headed out the door.
GORGEOUS, COOL WEEKEND… Sunny skies are expected for Saturday and for Sunday. High temperatures will be in the 60s with morning lows in the 40s. No rain is expected and cloud cover will be quite limited as high pressure takes control of our weather pattern.
NEXT RAIN CHANCE: TUESDAY… Our next chance of rain (after this morning) will happen on Tuesday as an another cold front slides by. We’ll call it a 20-30% chance of showers for now. High temperatures will likely scale back into the 50s for the latter half of next week with morning lows in the 30s.
