STORMS WEAKENING; THREAT NOT OVER YET… The main line of thunderstorms that is sliding across our area continues to show an overall pattern of weakening. There are some parts of the line of storms that are clearly on the strong side, however. The strongest storms are near Stockton, Tensaw, Blacksher, and Gopher Hill in northern Baldwin County. This goes to show that the severe weather risk is not over just yet, but clearly the risk has lessened somewhat. We still could have a tornado warning over the next few hours as this line moves east.

CONFIRMED TORNADO TO THE NORTH… A Tornado Warning continues until 2:30PM for much of southern and central Autauga County in central Alabama. There was a confirmed tornado about ten minutes ago near Garden Island just east of Selma. It was likely a brief, weak tornado, but a TDS or Tornadic Debris Signature was observed nonetheless. If you’re in Prattville, Autaugaville, or areas near Winslow, stay sheltered!
