SHOWERS POSSIBLE LATE SUNDAY… Much of the day on Sunday should be dry across our region. There could be a few showers across our interior counties by Sunday evening. At this point, thunderstorm development looks to remain limited. No severe weather is expected. High temperatures on Sunday will be in the mid-60s.
MORE RAIN MONDAY INTO TUESDAY… Rain chances will be elevated Monday into Tuesday as a warm, southerly flow of the Gulf of Mexico takes hold of our weather pattern. Highs will surge into the 70s by Monday afternoon. Some model indications point to a severe weather potential in the middle part of next week, but there are discrepancies in the model data and it’s too early to give specifics.
