SHOWERS STREAMING NORTHWARD… A band of showers has formed across Monroe, Clarke, and northern Baldwin counties. These showers are streaming to the north. Light to moderate rain is happening near Perdue Hill, Choctaw Bluff, and Tensaw.

NEXT FEW HOURS… Showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage across the region. The odds of any given point having severe weather issues remain very low to near zero. We note that Clarke and Washington counties remain involved in the low-end, Level 1 (out of 5) marginal severe weather risk zone. Clearly, the greater issues today will happen (and are happening) to our north where multiple tornado warnings are in effect for parts of northeast Mississippi.

I’ll have updates as needed here in the RedZone Weather app. Enjoy your afternoon!
