LOUD STORMS IN WEST ALABAMA… The line of showers and thunderstorms currently draped across Choctaw County, AL is not moving much. The line of storms will slowly move eastward over the next few hours. The risk of severe weather is very low, but not entirely zero as there could be a brief gust of strong wind in any of the storms that become strong.

WHAT TO EXPECT THROUGH DAWN… You may be awakened over the next few hours by heavy downpours of rain or a clap of thunder. Widespread severe weather is NOT expected. If we happen to have any warnings (we probably will not!), I’ll let you know in the RedZone Weather app.
