LOUD STORMS MOVING NORTHEAST… It has become apparent that the atmosphere is much more stable than previously thought for areas along and west of Interstate 65. Storms just to the east of the I-65 corridor lined up from Molino to Brewton to Greenville are LOUD. Lots of thunder and lightning involved.
SEVERE STORM OVER MCKENZIE… The severe thunderstorm over southern Butler County near McKenzie and Georgiana may be producing damaging winds in excess of 60-70mph as it moves towards Halso Mill and Oaky Streak in eastern Butler County. Much of Crenshaw County is also involved in the severe thunderstorm warning that continues until 1AM.
