ISOLATED STORMS EARLY THIS MORNING… Several storms continue to bring heavy rain and occasional cloud-to-ground lightning to locales across south Alabama and northwest Florida. The strongest storms at the moment are happening in northern Monroe County near Beatrice, Tunnel Springs, and Monroeville. We also note a small storm has formed in the last hour near Brewton, East Brewton, Riverview, Keego, and Pollard.

Another complex of storms is happening just offshore from Navarre, Mary Esther, Fort Walton Beach, and Destin.

STORMS TO CONTINUE… I expect more storms to pop up over the next few hours. Another larger batch of storms will happen in the late morning and early afternoon hours. Be ready for scattered downpours of heavy rain throughout the day.

Severe weather remains highly unlikely.
