DORIAN LIKELY TO MAKE LANDFALL IN COASTAL CAROLINA; WATCHING FERNAND & GABRIELLE… Hurricane Dorian continues to move faster to the north across the far western Atlantic near the Florida and Georgia coastline this afternoon. Dorian is paralleling the coast as it heads northward. The large hurricane will turn progressively to the northeast over the next 24 hours. Hurricane Warnings continue for parts of North Carolina and South Carolina. These hurricane warnings are in place not as a total precautionary measure, but instead because there is a high chance that hurricane force winds may happen near the immediate coastline. Dorian will be out of our hair in the U.S. as we go into Friday when the system starts lifting away from North Carolina. We’re also watching Tropical Storm Fernand, which has made landfall in northeast Mexico and Tropical Storm Gabrielle in the far eastern Atlantic Ocean. See the video for more details about the tropics…

SUNNY & HOT AGAIN ON THIS WEDNESDAY… Temperatures are peaking in the mid-90s across south Alabama and northwest Florida this afternoon. More sunshine (and no rain!) is expected for Thursday and Friday with high temperatures in the upper-90s.

See all the details, including a look at the next 7 days, in your Wednesday #rzw forecast video… Enjoy the day!
