BENEFICIAL RAIN CONTINUES INLAND… Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue to move eastward across south Alabama on this Tuesday morning. As of 9AM, the heaviest rain in our local area is happening in Conecuh and Escambia (AL) counties along Interstate 65. Moderate to heavy rain is also happening across parts of Monroe, Clarke, Washington, Butler, and northern Covington counties.

RAIN TO MOVE SOUTHWARD… The short-term, high-resolution model guidance continues to indicate that rain and storms will progressively move to the south in the next few hours. If your location hasn’t had rain today as of yet, there is a very high chance that you will before the end of the day.

Storms remain under severe limits as of 9:04AM.
