SHOWERS LOCALLY, HEAVIER RAIN TO THE NORTH… Several small showers are happening across the northern parts of Conecuh and Butler counties early on this Saturday morning. Heavier rain is happening well to our north across northwest Alabama extending back into central Mississippi. It looks like the rain will be more widespread across our local area after 6AM. There could be a few thunderstorms, but widespread severe weather is NOT anticipated with this event. Rain will come to an end later this afternoon.
