SUNNY & COLD TODAY; WARMING TREND THROUGH SUNDAY… Temperatures started this morning at or below the freezing mark in many spots across south Alabama and northwest Florida. We will rebound into the mid- to upper-50s this afternoon around 2PM. By Wednesday afternoon, temperatures will jump into the mid- to upper-60s. Our overall weather pattern will remain fairly quiet through Friday. That is when our next chance of rain and storms will happen. Let’s look at the details.

MORE SUNSHINE WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY… Sunny skies are expected all day on this Tuesday. The same is expected for Wednesday as well with slightly warmer temperatures. Thursday will feature slightly warmer temps with cloud coverage increasing from west to east ahead of the rain chance on Friday.

NEXT RAIN CHANCE HAPPENS FRIDAY… Rain will return to our weather forecast on Friday, primarily in the morning hours. The greatest chance of showers as of now looks to happen from 4AM to 4PM. For now, severe weather parameters remain at or near zero in most spots. We’ll have to monitor parameters over the next few days to see if the chance of general thunderstorms increases, but even that (as of now) seems questionable.

SHOWERS POSSIBLE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY… An unsettled, mild pattern looks to set up this weekend with a chance of showers and maybe a few thunderstorms by Sunday. We’ll be able to get more specific about details over the next few days.
