RAIN AT TIMES TODAY INTO TONIGHT… Scattered showers will be possible on this Saturday, primarily in the afternoon and evening hours. I can’t completely rule out a few showers this morning, but most of the rain will happen later today. There could be a few thunderstorms involved at times today, but meager instability values will likely limit thunder and lightning. Widespread severe weather is NOT expected today. Skies will remain mostly cloudy throughout the day and into tonight. High temperatures will be in the low- to mid-70s.

MORE SHOWERS ON SUNDAY… Rain will be possible tomorrow (Sunday) into the evening hours as a cold front approaches from the northwest. Thunderstorms are unlikely on Sunday as there simply won’t be much (if any) instability around our region. High temperatures will be near 70.

MUCH COOLER MONDAY INTO TUESDAY… Colder air arrives on Sunday night into Monday as the cold front pushes across our area. Highs on Monday will be in the upper-50s in many spots across the region ahead of a cold night. Overnight lows by 6AM Tuesday will be in the mid- to upper-30s. Dry conditions are likely Monday and Tuesday ahead of our next chance of rain on Wednesday.

I’ll have radar updates posted as needed today in the RedZone Weather app. Have a great Saturday!
