QUIET OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS; RISK RAMPS UP AFTER 3AM… As of 9:30PM, numerous strong to severe thunderstorms are organizing over the northern half of Mississippi, and northern Louisiana. Our local area in south Alabama and northwest Florida remains quiet late this evening with no rain noted locally on radar at this time. A squall line has developed across southeastern Oklahoma that will likely ultimately consolidate with all of the storms in the Deep South. These storms will move into south Alabama and northwest Florida around 3AM. We will be watching developing storms to our west and northwest until then.

The squall line that will move across our area is expected to be intense with the potential for multiple tornadoes and damaging straight line winds.

WARNING COVERAGE… As always, if and when we have tornado warnings issued for any part of our local 12 counties in south Alabama and northwest Florida, we will go into our uninterrupted Facebook Live video coverage to bring you the very latest. Please have a way to get urgent weather warnings tomorrow morning!
