FREEZE WARNING & FROST LIKELY; COLD TEMPS EXPECTED OVERNIGHT… Tonight will be a “drip the pipes” kind of night across inland areas of southwest Alabama as temperatures will briefly dip below freezing for the first time this month. Bring outdoor pets and sensitive plants inside and check on any folks that may not have adequate heating.

Temperatures will be near 30 degrees by 6AM Sunday morning near and just north of the U.S. Highway 84 corridor near communities like Thomasville, Fulton, Grove Hill, Monroeville, Perdue Hill, Mexia, Tunnel Springs, Peterman, Beatrice, Owassa, Evergreen, Lyeffion, Greenville, Georgiana, Chapman, Forest Home, and surrounding areas.

Temperatures will be near or just above freezing, most likely, in areas south of U.S. Highway 84 where a Frost Advisory is in effect. This Frost Advisory includes Mobile, Prichard, Saraland, Creola, Citronelle, Mt. Vernon, Wilmer, Bay Minette, Spanish Fort, Daphne, Fairhope, Stockton, Milton, Pace, Century, Molino, Walnut Hill, Atmore, Poarch, Huxford, Flomaton, Brewton, East Brewton, Andalusia, Opp, Florala, Red Level, Crestview, Niceville, Baker, Laurel Hill, and surrounding areas.

Clear skies overnight will give way to full sunshine on Sunday with highs likely to be in the mid-60s.
