SUNNY & CHILLY TODAY; WARMER TEMPS LATER THIS WEEK… Despite full sunshine expected across the region today, high temperatures will only be in the low-60s. Some communities in west Alabama may only have a high temperature in the upper-50s. Sunny skies are ahead over the next few days as a benign, quiet weather pattern continues.

MORE SUNSHINE THROUGH THURSDAY; INCREASING TEMPS… Sunny skies in the daytime and clear skies at night are expected through Thursday. Highs will be in the low-60s today ahead of highs approaching 70 tomorrow. Mid-70s will be possible by Wednesday afternoon with plenty of sunshine expected.

A FEW SHOWERS BECOME POSSIBLE THIS WEEKEND… Our next chance of rain will happen during the upcoming weekend, although confidence in the idea of rain is fairly low for now. Highs this weekend will likely be near 70 with morning lows in the 50s. I will continue to monitor the data this week and give you our latest thoughts on the weekend rain potential in the RedZone Weather app.

HURRICANE SEASON ENDS TOMORROW… The tropics remain quiet with no tropical storms expected to form in the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, or the Atlantic Ocean. I am thrilled to say the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season ends tomorrow.
