SUNNY, COOL TUESDAY; NEXT RAIN CHANCE: SATURDAY… Sunny, cool conditions are expected on this Tuesday across south Alabama and northwest Florida. High temperatures will be in the mid- to upper-50s today. Overnight lows will again be near or just below the freezing mark by 6AM Wednesday. More sunshine is ahead for Thursday and Friday. High temperatures will climb into the 60s each day. A few showers will become possible this weekend, particularly on Saturday and perhaps on Sunday morning. Cool temperatures will persist into early next week as a reinforcing shot of cooler air arrives from the north. A few more Tuesday morning forecast notes are below.

SEASONAL FEW DAYS AHEAD… More sunshine is ahead for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. High temperatures will consistently be around the 60 degree mark each day. Overnight lows will be 30s and 40s each day.

RAIN POSSIBLE SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY… An upper-level low pressure system will arrive this weekend, bringing with it the chance of a few showers on Saturday. Rain amounts will generally be fairly light across the region, but we are expecting plenty of cloud cover on Saturday with showers being most likely to happen in the afternoon and evening hours. A few showers may happen through Sunday morning. The moisture associated with the upper low will be gone by Sunday afternoon.
