END OF HURRICANE SEASON 2023… The 2023 Atlantic Hurricane Season ends today!
The season featured 20 tropical storms (one unnamed storm happened in January), 7 hurricanes, and 3 major hurricanes.
Hurricane Idalia was the strongest storm to directly strike the continental United States.
RAIN & STORMS THIS WEEKEND… We kick off a warming trend today with highs set to be in the 60s. Highs will be in the 70s this weekend with quite a bit of rain expected.
Some thunderstorms tomorrow (Friday) may be strong or marginally severe. Just to be safe, have a way to hear warnings tomorrow!
