FANTASTIC WEATHER THIS WEEKEND… Other than a few showers becoming possible Thursday night into early Friday morning, rain chances will remain quite low over the next 7 days. GORGEOUS weekend ahead!
SUNNY WEDNESDAY; FEW SHOWERS POSSIBLE FRIDAY MORNING… Clear skies are once again in the forecast on this Wednesday. Temperatures will be just a bit warmer than yesterday with most spots reaching the low-70s this afternoon. More nice weather is in store for Thursday ahead of the chance of a few showers late Thursday night into early Friday morning. MOST communities across the region will remain dry even through Friday morning. The upcoming weekend looks excellent with sunny skies in the forecast. High temperatures will be in the 70s this weekend.
INCREASING CLOUDINESS THURSDAY; RAIN POSSIBLE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY… Partly cloudy skies are likely on Thursday ahead of a chance of a few showers on Thursday night into Friday. The system moving by on Friday will not usher in any colder air, but there may be just enough moisture involved for a few showers on Thursday night and Friday morning. Most communities will remain dry as showers will likely be widely spaced. Total rain amounts of less than one tenth of an inch are expected across the region.
NEAR PERFECT WEATHER THIS WEEKEND… Full sunshine is likely on both Saturday and Sunday. This will mark the first time in several weekends that we have had a completely sunny, nice weekend. High temperatures will be in the low-70s on Saturday and on Sunday with overnight lows in the 40s. It does not get much better for a late February weekend.
NEXT SIGNIFICANT RAIN CHANCE IN ABOUT ONE WEEK… If you miss the rainfall on Thursday night into Friday morning, the next (more significant) chance of rain will likely happen in about one week as we move toward the final days of February. A cold front will likely approach our local area, bringing with it a chance for thunderstorms. It is too early to know if severe weather will be a possibility, but now through early May is typically when we see multiple episodes of severe storms. This will be something to monitor for over the next week. I will bring you the latest information in the RedZone Weather app.
