Took a little longer than I hoped for thanks to Nadine and Oscar, but…

DRY, MOSTLY SUNNY DAYS AHEAD… We need RAIN, but unfortunately we don’t have any in the forecast over the next 7 days. Looks like October will go down as a very dry month locally.
SUNNY, NICE WEATHER SET TO CONTINUE… Pleasant weather is set to continue on this Wednesday across south Alabama and northwest Florida as our streak of dry days persists. No real changes to report in the 7 Day Forecast – we have a slew of nice, sunny, warm days coming up with cool nights. While our area certainly needs the rain being that we have drought zones in place across the region, no rain is in the forecast locally as of now. There is a real chance we may close out the month of October with no more rain. The quiet weather now also extends to the tropics. No tropical storms or hurricanes are active in the Atlantic Basin this morning.
TROPICAL STORM OSCAR IS NO MORE… The National Hurricane Center issued its final advisory on Tropical Storm Oscar yesterday afternoon. The system has dissipated and is expected to merge with a non-tropical area of low pressure near Bermuda later today. That means the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, and Atlantic Ocean are quiet with no new tropical storms expected to develop over the next 5-7 days. Good news!
