MOSTLY CLOUDY LATER TODAY; MILD DAYS SET TO CONTINUE… Skies will become mostly cloudy this afternoon into this evening across south Alabama and northwest Florida. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s today. Temperatures are poised to hit the 80 degree mark in the upcoming afternoons as our mild, nice streak of weather is set to continue. The next several days are also expected to be dry. The one concern, weather-wise, that I have in the days ahead will be the potential for dense fog in the overnight and early morning hours.

PATCHY AREAS OF DENSE FOG THIS MORNING… Take it slow if you’re headed out early this morning as we do have patchy areas of dense fog across the region this morning, particularly in areas closer to the beaches and the bays. Dense areas of fog will continue to be a concern over the next several mornings.

NICE, WARM PATTERN TO CONTINUE… Mild temperatures are expected to continue over the next several days with highs set to be near the 80 degree mark tomorrow and on Thursday. Overnight lows will be in the 60s later this week and into the weekend. Temperatures will be nice and mild this weekend with highs in the upper 70s. Dry conditions are likely over the next several days into the weekend. The only chance of rain we have this week will be on Thursday when a few highly isolated P.M. showers may become possible. Rain amounts would generally be less than 0.1″ across the region with most locales getting no rain at all.

SLIGHTLY COOLER AIR LIKELY EARLY NEXT WEEK… A cold front is expected to move through our region on Sunday evening, with cooler temperatures arriving on Monday. High temperatures on Monday and Tuesday of the upcoming week will be in the low to mid 60s with morning lows likely to be in the upper 40s.
