MOSTLY CLOUDY WEDNESDAY; MILD TEMPS THRU SUNDAY… A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect across all of the local area through 9AM. Take it slow if you’re driving this morning and encounter dense fog. Skies will remain mostly cloudy across the region on this Wednesday. Isolated sprinkles and showers may be possible later today, particularly across inland areas north of U.S. Highway 84. Rain chances remain less than a 10% chance across the entire region. Another round of dense fog is likely tomorrow morning with mild temperatures expected to persist. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s and near the 80 degree mark on Thursday and Friday.
WARM TEMPS THIS WEEKEND; COLDER AIR ARRIVES SUNDAY EVENING… High temperatures will be in the low 80s in many locales across south Alabama and northwest Florida on Saturday and Sunday. Rain chances are expected to remain quite low (near zero in most spots) this weekend. Partly cloudy skies are likely on both Saturday and Sunday. A cold front will move through the region on Sunday evening into Sunday night, paving the way for cooler temperatures early next week.
COOLER, WETTER PATTERN STARTING ON MONDAY… High temperatures will be in the 60s on Monday with a chance of showers, mainly in the evening hours. Rain is likely on Tuesday of the upcoming week as well. The overall pattern into next week will feature temperatures near our norms for this time of year. No snow or mixed precipitation is in the forecast. For now, there also are no formal severe weather risk zones in place next week either. If that changes, I will let you know.
