SPRINKLES AT TIMES TODAY; HEAVY RAIN & STORMS LIKELY AT TIMES NEXT WEEK… Today will be similar to yesterday in that scattered sprinkles and showers will be possible at times, particularly this afternoon into the evening hours. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s and low 80s today. Looking ahead to next week, a frontal boundary will stall out across our region. This means multiple rounds of rain and thunderstorms are likely toward the middle of the upcoming week. Please check back for updates as there is a chance we may have a few strong to severe storms multiple times next week. Details remain murky concerning details for now (to be expected as we are 4-5 days out from the event) but we will have more clarity later in the weekend and into early next week.
WARM WEEKEND; HIGHS NEAR 80° BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY… Partly cloudy skies and warm temperatures are likely this weekend. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s and low 80s with morning lows in the upper 50s and near 60°. This will be a very nice weekend, particularly for early February. Temperatures will be running 10-15 degrees above our norms for this time of year.
SHOWERS POSSIBLE MONDAY; RAIN LIKELY TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY… Be ready for rain across the region as early as Monday when scattered showers and thunderstorms will become possible across the region. Rain chances rise on Tuesday and Wednesday when multiple disturbances are slated to move across the region along a stalled frontal boundary. Heavy rain may become possible at times along with multiple chances of strong to severe storms being possible.
