MOSTLY CLOUDY & SLIGHTLY WARMER TODAY; HIGHS IN 70s TUESDAY… Skies will remain mostly cloudy for much of the day on this Monday across south Alabama and northwest Florida. High temperatures will be ten to fifteen degrees warmer today compared to yesterday with most spots reaching the mid to upper 60s by 3PM. Lingering showers this morning will continue to move southeast and out of our area by Noon-1PM at the latest. While a few peeks of sunshine will be possible later today, I expect most of the region to remain mostly cloudy throughout the day.

WARMER TEMPERATURES THIS WEEK… High temperatures will be in the 70s both Tuesday and Wednesday with partly cloudy skies each day. Overnight lows will be in the 40s tomorrow and Wednesday mornings.

NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN (AFTER TODAY) HAPPENS THURSDAY… Scattered showers will be possible across Alabama, Mississippi, and northwest Florida on Thursday as a frontal boundary moves southeast. The greatest chance of rain on Thursday across our local area will happen in the daytime hours. For now, the overall chance of thunderstorms seems rather low. Severe storms are currently not expected on Thursday across our region.

NICE WEEKEND COMING UP… Seasonal, nice weather is upcoming for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. High temperatures will be near the 70 degree mark on Friday and Saturday with mid 70s likely for afternoon highs on Sunday. Dry conditions are expected for the duration of the weekend. Scattered showers may become possible a week from today on Monday, March 3.
