WARMER TEMPS TODAY; NEXT RAIN CHANCE: THURSDAY… Clouds around this morning will quickly give way to mostly sunny skies across the region this afternoon into this evening. High temperatures on this Tuesday will be in the low 70s. Really nice conditions as we get into the afternoon and early evening hours! No rain is expected today, tonight, or tomorrow, but a few showers may become possible on Thursday as a frontal boundary slides through from northwest to southeast. For now, there are no indications of any severe weather issues on Thursday.
DRY CONDITIONS TODAY, TONIGHT, AND WEDNESDAY… Mostly clear skies are expected tonight with overnight lows in the low 40s. High temperatures on Wednesday will be in the mid 70s with mostly sunny skies expected throughout the day.
SHOWERS POSSIBLE THURSDAY… Showers will be possible during the daytime hours of Thursday as a weak cold front slides across south Alabama and northwest Florida. The cold front will not be ushering in any meaningful change in temperatures, but there may be just enough forcing associated with the frontal boundary to spark off a few widely scattered showers. Rain amounts will generally be less than 0.25″ across the region and there is a real chance some communities remain completely dry. High temperatures on Thursday will be in the low to mid 70s. Rain chances Thursday remain in the 20-30% chance range. No severe storms are expected and the overall coverage of any thunderstorms should be rather limited.
MOSTLY SUNNY FRIDAY, SATURDAY, AND SUNDAY… The upcoming weekend looks quite nice with highs set to be in the low 70s on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Dry conditions are expected to persist throughout the weekend with mostly sunny skies each day.
