SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY; LOCAL RISK TUESDAY NIGHT… Many more questions than answers at this point concerning the severe weather risk setting up for next week but trends are in place that will very likely support tornadoes across parts of the Deep South on Tuesday into Wednesday.

Tornadoes, potentially including a few strong (EF2+) tornadoes, will be possible Tuesday, March 4. The zone of greatest concern will happen in parts of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

The risk shifts east Tuesday night into Wednesday morning across parts of central Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama. Wind gusts and perhaps a few tornadoes will be possible across parts of Alabama and northwest Florida in this timeframe.

This is totally normal for this time of year. March and April are typically our most active severe weather months. Have a way to hear urgent weather warnings midweek!

We will be able to get much more specific on what you can expect over the next few days.

I will have a full, detailed update posted by 7:15AM in the next regularly scheduled RedZone Weather forecast video. Have a nice Thursday evening!
